Nightguards are removable appliances worn in your sleep to stop the destructive forces of clenching and grinding. Night time clenching and grinding can damage teeth and the TMJ joints. Grinding is also a major cause of head and neck muscle soreness, tension headaches, and migraine headaches. Symptoms of night time grinding also include being chronically tired, waking up several times a night, running out of energy mid day, and popping & clicking of the TMJ joints.

Night guards are custom fitted to your mouth. We have two basic types a labratory made guard and a chairside guard. Depending on which best fits your condition is the one we have fabricated. They are made by taking impressions of your teeth and are constructed out of a very durable plastic that protect the teeth and help relax the muscles of your face.
